Just Another Manic Monday or Tuesday
Wait a minute! It's Tuesday. I always get Tuesday wrong. I think my divorce was final on a Tuesday.
Living in the Portland Oregon metropolitan area exposes you to a different set of experiences that is so different from anywhere else in the United States. My friends and family think that since I moved here from Texas years ago, that I'm some how now an extreme liberal. Thanks Portland, I appreciate that. I live here because I like cool temperatures most of the time. I also like overcast skies because it's easy on the eyes.
In Texas I was conservative in my political views, after years of Texas and working for large global corporations I've arrived to sit in the middle of the road. Look out for that truck. I'm a moderate!
Being a moderate is like being the only normal member of an extremely dysfunctional family. Your'e the minority and everybody hates you. However the moderate person is the glue that keeps this country together and prevents a theocracy from forming on one side and keeps the frothing "I was abused as a child" folks from trying to form a more perfect union of extremely fair socialism.
Extremism is extremely bad.
